Project Description

For this project we teamed up with Conversation Co to undertake a comprehensive community engagement project on the topic of community safety.

For this project ASDF Research:

  • Developed a survey tool;
  • Undertook stratified representative sampling of all households using the rates database for the representative survey component;
  • Hosted 2 versions of the online survey (one representative and one open access);
  • Managed the mail-out contractor to send and process 4000 paper versions of the survey;
  • Undertook thematic analysis of open ended responses;
  • Undertook comprehensive data analysis and reporting, including a Word report, as well as an interactive dashboard (Excel, with geography selection box); and
  • Presented findings to Council staff.
