Project Description

ASDF Research undertook a project for Banyule City Council to assist with their Youth Service Planning. This involved:

  • Youth Profile– Using Census data, adolescent profiles, forecasting and other data collected by Banyule City Council, we compiled a detailed profile of young people in the municipality.
  • Needs Assessment– Using a wide variety of documentation and references we developed a concise assessment of the needs of young people, both in general and in Banyule specifically.
  • Sector Context– We compiled an overview of the Youth Services sector both broadly in Victoria, as well as specifically within Banyule, and developed a clear picture of Council’s role within this sector.

This information was then integrated into the service plan for the Youth Services unit within Council.
